Are you ready to level up your mountain bike game? The Rockhopper is like a cheat code for unlimited fun, with a lightweight A1 Aluminum alloy frame. Our Sport XC 29 geometry maximizes the benefits of large 29-inch wheels, while the hardworking parts kit just won’t quit.

DIALED FOR DIRT

Our Sport XC 29 geometry is designed for a comfortable, efficient riding position, with a short stem and longer reach that puts your center of gravity slightly farther back for stability, while the short chainstays keep the rear wheel tucked in for maximum traction.

SIR SHIFTS-A-LOT

The 16-speed Shimano drivetrain provides reliable shifting that puts you in the right gear every time. A broad gear range flattens out long hills and keeps you cranking on descents, and the rust-resistant KMC chain runs long and strong but won’t get the friction on.

SR SunTour XCT 30 suspension fork keeps you in control no matter the terrain.

Powerful Shimano hydraulic disc brakes give you confidence and control on steep trails.

Ground Control Sport front and Fast Trak Sport rear tires are the perfect combo of efficiency and grip.

  • Our engineers went over every inch of the A1 Alloy frame, flattening the top tube to help make the ride even smoother, while ovalizing elsewhere to maximize strength to weight. And with internal cable routing and clean lines throughout, the Rockhopper looks as good as it rides.
  • Good suspension like the SR SunTour XCT 30 suspension fork is like a joy multiplier. It takes the edge off bumpier sections of trail and makes them fun, and mutes the smaller chatter so you can focus on the ride, not the buzz and bounce. You’ll ride longer, more confidently and more comfortably.
  • When it comes to power and control, nothing beats a pair of hydraulic disc brakes, so we picked Shimano’s superb MT200 system, with dual-piston calipers. The excellent modulation lets you carefully apply just the right amount of braking force with minimal effort at the lever.
